Products used :-

8x8 White card
Silver Mirri card
Creative Expressions foundation-Black card
Foundations -White card
Sue Wilson EF- Celtic Flower
Creative Expressions- Espresso background stamp
Creative Expressions- Silver embossing powder
Spellbinders basic dies

I started with an 8x8 card and matt and layered with silver mirri card and an embossed layer using Sue's Celtic flower EF. I then cut 3 panels of black foundation card and stamped with perfect medium with 3 different images from the CE back ground stamp and heat embossed them with CE embossing powder, then layered with silver mirri card, and attached sticky pads for dimention and attached to the card in equal spaces. For the focal I stamped Espresso Yourself stamp and heat embossed with silver embossing powder and cut it out with Spellbinders basic B die cuts and while still in the die lightly coloured edges with Tim Holtz black soot distressing ink, put sticky pads on the reverse and attached in the centre of the 3 panels. I stamped 5 coffee beans and cut them out with SW Carmelia dies, tied a bow with ribbon from my stash, added a gem to the middle and to the corners of the focal point.

I hope you like it!

On Friday I will be posting a Tina card, for a special lady on my blog . I really hope she likes it when it arrives.

Dessert Card

Good Tuesday Morning to all my regular blog friend visitors and to those who just pass through. Please feel free to pause a while and write a comment.

Out of all the stamps I was sent for this month this is my favorite.

Products used:-

8X8 white card
Pink mirri card
Creative Expression- Black foundation card
Creative Expression- white foundation card
Sue Wilson- Lattice Heart EF
Grosgrain ribbon
Spellbinders- Grand large labels
Spellbinders- Tag Dies
Sue Wilson- French collection Corner, border & tags die
Creative Expression- Crystal sparkler

First I started with a matt of pink mirri card and a piece of white card embossed with the heart lattice EF. The second layer of matt and layering is black card, pink mirri and heart lattice embossed white card only 3/4 the way down. Next I stamped from the kitchen utensil stamps on black card with Adirondack snow cap ink, then cut it out with the smallest Spellbinder grand Labels die, and while still in the die I lightly inked with the snow cap ink and attached it to the top of the card. I then cut from the French collection border and attached a strip of pink and white striped grosgrain ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the card. I then tied a bow with the same ribbon and glued it in the middle of the border. Finally I attached a sparkle from CE.

I hope it all makes sense, and I hope you like the card.

To all my regular visitors, I just thought I would let you know that Anthea has had some really intense radiotherapy and it is working big time. She has her final session on the 11th Dec,and she has said that her and Jake want to come for big hugs and cuddles sometime over Christmas, which will be FAB.

Paul had to go to the A&E again today as the eye cream they gave him last week reacted badly. His eye has now ulcerated and the iris has gone soggy and has attached itself to something else in the eye. He had to go back today and again tomorrow, as the ulcer has been quite aggressive,  hopefully better news today.

Claire STILL work in painful progress. I just despair of the NHS, and whole heartedly agree with Margaret ( Corgi Owner ). Claire needs to be seen by a vet. If she had been back September she would be sorted by now.

Thank you for your lovely comments about my last card.

Talk soon, have a great week

My 1st Dec DT Card

Good Tuesday morning blog friends

I hope you all had a good weekend. My weekend consisted of clearing up after an elderly puss cat (Summer), and a hubby that ended up in A&E. He was doing gardening and putting new fascias and guttering around to bungalow, he came in, his eye streaming  to see if I could see anything in it. It was completely red, that was on Saturday, by Sunday it looked dreadful, so I said it's A&E for you. They said what ever it was that was in his eye had gone with the eye watering so much but what ever it was had cut the cornea. So he has antibiotic cream to put in. Well what can I say, when  Claire & Craig were little they didn't make as much fuss when taking their medicine. MEN!.

Anyway I digress, the stamps we were sent for this month are even more of a challenge than last month, but I'm up for that. No flowers or butterflies on this card though.

Products used :-

8x8 white card
Creative Expressions- foundation black card
       "               "         foundation White card
Gold mirri card
Creative Expressions- black embossing powder
Creative Expressions- Tea & Biscuits stamp
Tim Holtz distress inks- Vintage photo & Wild honey
Gems- from my stash
Tea cup- from my stash
Sue Wilson Embossing folder
Sue Wilson California collection- Corner, border & Tags

First I matt & layered Gold and black card to the main 8x8 card, then did another set of matt & layering, only slightly smaller but bossed the black card with the basket weave EF and only 3/4 of the way down the black card. With odds and ends of the white, mirri & black card I made a ribbon to go across the bottom of the embossed part of the card. Before attaching I used Sue's Border die, in gold mirri and glued it to the back of the ribbon then glued to the bottom of the card. I stamped the Tea and Biscuit stamp onto white card and while still in the die I added some shade with distressing inks. I cut an oval frame out of remaining embossed card and layered with sticky pads. Just to finish I added some black gems and a cup an saucer from my stash.

I hope you like it! I would love you to leave a comment, and look forward to reading them.

See again you soon!

Kind Regards :-)
